  • models are blackbox, we cannot tell how they make decisions and yet they are making decison that affect people’s life. There is an algorithmic cruelty unexplainable. Also (to verify) often have racial components, class components etc.. Are we going to let these things decide how somebody gets sentenced after doing a crime? (per me: trovare checklist infermieri per decidere, prima forma di algoritmo preso per le decisioni) differences in sentencing based on whether you’re the first person a judge sees or the last, black or white, rich or poor, the problem is we are not able to investigate how those choice are being made if we cannot open the black box

Problem one;

  • intellectual property. Generative AI models were trained using intellectual property that didn’t agree to be in the training data and now the arey substituting it

Problem two: Psychosis, fall in love with the chatbot - Dependance on these things create malware or weapons thanks to ai

Problem three: electricity demanding, raising up the prices of the utilities

PRoblem 7: Cognitive athropy. - will people not be able to do things? will they not know how the code works? will they not know how to write an essay? written language outsurced a lot of our brain power onto the page
